• No accounts, logins, or personal information required
• Session conversations exist temporarily in memory and are not permanently stored

AI Services

• Chat messages are sent to third-party AI services (Google, OpenAI) for response generation
• These messages are not stored by Math Tutor after the session ends
• Please refer to Google's and OpenAI's privacy policies for how they handle data

Research Data

Math Tutor is developed as part of academic research on AI-assisted math learning. De-identified usage data is collected to study how students interact with the tool and to improve its design.

• Data is collected using randomly generated session IDs with no link to any individual
• Collected data includes: clickstream events (e.g., button clicks, feature usage), page navigation and view transitions, session duration and device category, and interaction patterns with tool features
• Conversation content is not stored
• Used only to improve the tool and support academic research
• Never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or sold

Security

• HTTPS enforced on all connections
• No tracking cookies or third-party analytics
• No personal information is collected or stored
